What is The Creative Exchange?
The Creative Exchange is a one-day community event where creativity meets sustainability. Join us on Saturday, September 13th at MaybeItsFate for a curated art supply consignment sale, a showcase of local artist work under $200, and a rotating schedule of mini creative workshops you can sign up for in advance.
Whether you're looking to declutter your studio, discover new supplies, support local makers, or spark fresh inspiration, you’ll find something to love here.

To keep the event flowing smoothly and the space cozy, RSVPs are required to attend.

Consign them at The Creative Exchange!
We’ll handle the sales for you. Just drop off your items, and we’ll do the rest.
Here’s how it works:
All items are sold through our central consignment system (no individual tables).
Each consignor may submit up to 30 items (we’ll provide downloadable and printable tags).
You keep 70% of your sales – or 80% if you volunteer during the event.
Drop-off will take place Friday, September 12th at MaybeItsFate.
Pickup for unsold items will be Sunday, September 14th.
📝 Optional: Fill out a simple inventory log to track your items.
🛑 Required: Sign a waiver acknowledging items are stored in an unlocked but low-traffic community room.

Workshop Guidelines:

🧮 How many items can I bring?
Each consignor can submit up to 30 items total. This helps us keep things organized and make space for everyone.
💸 How should I price my items?
You set your own prices! We recommend:
Bundling small items together (e.g. 3 pens for $1)
Keeping most items under $10 to encourage browsing
Using whole numbers (no cents) to keep checkout simple
Need help? We’ll provide a pricing guide with suggestions when you register.
🕰️ When do I drop off my supplies?
Drop-off is Friday, September 12th from 4-7PM at MaybeItsFate. Bring your labeled items and optional inventory log.
🧾 Do I need to fill out an inventory log?
Nope! It’s optional. But it helps you track your items and know what to pick up later.
📦 What happens to unsold items?
Pickup is Sunday, September 14th from 12-3PM.
Anything not claimed by 3PM will be donated or used in future community programming. If you are unable to pick up your unsold items, your payout rate for all sales will be 10% lower to facilitate donation drop off efforts.
🔐 Is the storage space locked overnight?
Items will be kept in a shared, low-traffic room, but it is not locked. All consignors are required to sign a waiver acknowledging this. Valuables or rare collector items should be cleared with The Creative Exchange team in advance.
